Smith announces two new Active Living Centre programs in Parry Sound Muskoka
The Ontario government is introducing two new Seniors Active Living Centre Programs in Parry Sound and Bracebridge.
In West Parry Sound, the Seniors Connect and Active Living program will serve as a central hub for seniors to access various services and activities. Similarly, seniors in Bracebridge will benefit from the Bracebridge Centre for Active Living, enhancing their health, wellness, and social engagement.
On Friday, local representatives, including MPP Graydon Smith, Mayor Ann MacDiarmid, and Mayor Rick Maloney, expressed gratitude for the new programs, recognizing their significance in supporting the senior population and fostering community engagement.
With these additions, Ontario now boasts 316 Seniors Active Living Centre programs across the province.
