Huntsville Hospital Foundation Receives $25,000 towards first MRI
The Stockfish Family Foundation recently donated $25,000 to Huntsville Hospital Foundation to support the establishment of Muskoka's first MRI. George Stockfish, a former shareholder and partner in Bickley Ford (Huntsville), was passionate about giving back to the community. Following his passing in January 2023, his wish was to support Huntsville Hospital. Bickley Ford has been a steadfast supporter of the hospital since 1998, donating over $53,000 and renewing their commitment. The donation from The Stockfish Family Foundation will help bring MRI services to Muskoka for the first time, saving patients significant travel time and providing timely diagnosis and treatment locally. This development also aids in reducing wait times for outpatient MRI and assists in healthcare recruitment efforts for the future.
